Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Times: Monday - Sunday (flexibility to work long days, nights & weekends)
Permanent Contract:
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience plus 9% shift allowance
We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Inpatients Spinal/ Thoracic Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
Working alongside supportive colleagues and Specialist Consultants, you will benefit from training on the most up-to-date pioneering equipment and treatments, helping you to become more of an expert in your field.
As a Senior Staff Nurse within the Spinal/ Thoracic department, you will assess, plan, deliver and implement a high standard of nursing care, responding to individual needs.
You will provide management and leadership to all staff in the absence of the Sister, and act as a point of contact for patients following discharge.
What You'll Bring:
- NMC Registered
- Experience/Qualification in specialty (Spinal) - essential
- Phlebotomy training - desirable
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
- Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)
- Basic life support
