Senior Structural Designer

Petrofac is seeking a Senior Structural Designer - Contractor for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

Scope of Services:

1. Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.
2. Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes.
3. Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
4. Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
5. Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
6. Provide checking of structural drawings.
7. Interface with other disciplines, clients, and third parties on technical project issues.
8. Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international, and client codes and standards.
9. Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.
10. Prepare structural general arrangement drawings.
11. Prepare structural destruct drawings.
12. Prepare installation methodology drawings/documents.
13. Prepare presentation sketches to assist in scope communications.
