Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently partnered with an independent engineering practice based in Salfords, Surrey, as they look to add a Senior Structural Engineer to their team.

The candidate will be accountable to the Directors but be working on their own initiative to provide innovative and cost effective design solutions in core materials, for a variety of projects across the commercial and residential sectors.

The role includes:

• Structural design
• Structural detailing
• Structural reports
• Site inspections and appraisals
• Design checks
• Design team meeting attendance

The candidate must:

• At least five years of industry experience in a similar consultancy environment
• Be fully conversant with British Standards and equivalent Eurocodes
• Be IT literate and have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Have experience with structural design software packages such as Masterseries and Tedds
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage but not essential
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and to strict deadlines
