Senior Structural Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and talented Senior Structural Engineer to join an employee-owned, award-winning consultancy in their Liverpool office. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors such as education, residential, healthcare, and hospitality.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and analysis of building structures, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and fully compliant with all relevant regulations. You'll be joining a dynamic team and have the opportunity to work on some truly impactful projects.

1. Perform structural analysis and design for building projects, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
2. Develop detailed design drawings and calculations, ensuring safety, feasibility, and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality results.
4. Conduct site visits to assess the structural progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

1. BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering.
2. Minimum of 6 years design experience.
3. Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes.
4. Experience working with all major materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
5. Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
