About Supply Operations Team
Supply Operations is at the core of GroupM's publisher partnerships, expertly managing technical relationships with Broadcast, CTV, digital, audio and DOOH partners. We're the go-to team for everything on the operational side of supply, overseeing daily functionality with SSP partners to ensure seamless and efficient execution.
About the role
The Senior Operations Executive is responsible for providing product, data and technical operational support across both internal and external stakeholders. This role will also support testing and development of new and existing publishers, tech and products, as required, as well as managing daily reporting tasks for the team. This role reports to the Senior Technical Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and day-to-day management of our supply and tech partners for Display, Audio, Video and AdvancedTV products
- Assist with day-to-day relationship with supply partners
- Manage the operational set up of deals within GroupM's supply platforms
- Manage the team's regular publisher delivery and performance reporting requirements sharing daily updates with the team, using this data to understand and call out issues and trends in the data
- Provide QA support for changes within the SSPs
- Support Senior Managers with new publisher integrations
- Assist with the compilation and maintenance of documentation for internal and external use
- Support and help identify and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with the GroupM Commercial Supply Solutions team on understanding and actioning inventory changes when necessary
- Contribute and assist with platform and publisher development and help to manage communications to wider teams around testing and platform updates
- Become an expert in GroupM's programmatic technology partners, including but not limited to Magnite, Pubmatic, Index, Microsoft
The ideal candidate:
The candidate should have experience within ad operations, campaign management or a similar role. They should have an understanding of programmatic standards and the programmatic ecosystem, with an interest in the changing digital landscape. An enthusiastic and flexible approach to tasks and problem solving is essential.
Experience:
- 1-2 years' experience working within ad operations, programmatic campaign management or similar role
- Experience of working with either an SSP, DSP or both
Additional skills:
- Numerate, with the ability to perform data analysis
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Teams, Visio and other Microsoft products will be helpful
- Good attention to detail
- A creative approach to problem solving
- Strong organisational and clear communication skills
- Exposure to programmatic troubleshooting or knowledge of programmatic landscape
