Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021, the company created its first original IP, 'Brightpaw', which Rogue Games published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google, and iOS. The studio is currently working on the much-anticipated silly, physics-based, sandbox farming game, 'Southfield'.

Your Mission- Develop tools and workflows that streamline development of in-game cinematics.
- Provide users with powerful graphical tools that simplify workflow and ensure data integrity.
- Provide support to a wide range of users including, but not limited to internal and external animation teams and cinematic designers.
- Work directly with multiple customer groups to provide solutions that meet their needs.
- 5+ years of experience using Python professionally.
- Deep technical knowledge of Maya, especially in the areas of animation and cinematics.
- Experience developing and supporting runtime cinematic systems in production.
- Experience streamlining workflows, providing support, and maintaining tools in production.
- Familiarity with rigging.
- Experience developing UIs.
- Experience with version control and SCM systems (Git, Perforce, Mercurial, etc.).
- Familiarity with common data formats: JSON/XML/etc.
- Motivated to work collaboratively with technical and creative team members spread across several continents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-sufficient and have strong time management skills.
- Experience building PyQt or PySide applications.
- Experience working with or developing micro-services.
- Experience with C++ strongly preferred.
- Provide users with powerful graphical tools that integrate data from multiple sources and provide transparency, clarity, and consistency across platforms.
- This role is fully remote.
- We will require all applicants to live in the UK and have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
- The role will initially be a 12-month contract with the potential to extend after this.
