Senior Tester Python 3 (f/m/x) financial institution Prague -

On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:

The Senior Tester role involves developing and executing smoke tests to ensure major functionalities of a pricing system.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain smoke test scripts using Python 3.
Perform smoke testing to quickly verify major functionalities of the pricing system.
Identify and report defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the pricing system.
Document and communicate test results effectively, providing actionable insights.

Qualifications/required skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and/or development.
Proficiency in Python 3 and Linux.
Shell Scripting, bash (other programming experience)
MySQL, SQL
Network protocols TCP, UDP, Multicast etc
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Additional Information:

• Start date of assignment: 01.03.2025
• Initial contract duration: 6 months + option of extension
• Degree of project work: Full-time
• Location: Prague (50% remote work possible)
