Senior Treasury Consultant: work closely with C-level

We are VS, a boutique company specialized in financial consulting with a focus on start-ups and scale-ups that do not have the capacity to hire a CFO full time but still need high level expertise to face problematics such as cash management, accounting, financial reporting, ERP integration, fund raising or debt restructuring.

In order to reinforce our consulting team in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Treasury Consultant.

The role

You will be part of VS Consulting finance team that is working closely with CEO's of start-ups and SME's to address critical challenges and transform finance process.

Typical projects that you will be working on include:

• Perform treasury operations for our clients (banks statements reconciliation, cash management, banks loans, banks deposits, FX hedging )
• Preparation of cash forecast and variance analysis
• Liquidity planning
• Maintenance of TMS/web banking platform/Bank account management
• Assisting our clients in ad hoc projects:

Ø Treasury systems implementation (training, testing, and go live)

Ø Banks migration & KYC

Ø Elaboration of Treasury Procedures

Ø Fund raising

• Be the SPOC between our clients and VS team for all additional requests

Who we look for:

• Degree in Economics/Finance/Business engineering or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in Treasury department or Financial Services function (back office, middle office, )
• Hands on experience with key treasury systems including banking connectivity (SWIFT, web banking platform, TMS, )
• Experience with Kyriba
• Good communicator, you express yourself fluently in French and English (Fluency in Dutch is a plus)
