Job Description

Job Role: Senior Voice and Collaboration Engineer
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: up to £90,000
Sector: Financial

Vertex IT Solutions is continuing to support one of its Financial Services customers who have a busy 2022 ahead with recruitment and expansion.

This is a technical role which includes Voice and AV engineering across existing CUCM, AV and MS Teams environments. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivery/design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting and supporting the Voice strategy globally.

Tech environment includes (but not limited to):

  1. Cisco Call Manager
  2. Video End Points, Video Conferencing
  3. MS Teams direct routing
  4. Expressways / Gateways
  5. Avaya Voice Recording

Experience required:

  1. Ideally have experience of Enterprise voice and collaboration technologies across financial services.
  2. Essential Experience in IP Network & Voice/IP Telephony Experience with Cisco Unified Communication Suite & a strong understanding of LAN, WAN & telecommunication operations is mandatory.
  3. Strong knowledge of Cisco networking systems with the ability to configure & troubleshoot voice related hardware CCNP or CCVP certification.
  4. M365 and Modern Workplace technologies
  5. Session Border Controllers and SIP Trunking
