Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer
Location: London or Billericay

Are you a Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineer seeking a new challenge? We're looking for an experienced engineer to join our team in either London or Billericay and take the lead on exciting, large-scale infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

As a Senior or Principal Engineer, you'll oversee the design and delivery of major civil engineering projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. You'll lead a talented team while ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This role provides the chance to work with key clients and influence projects that will make a real impact.

The Role:

  1. Lead the design of highways, drainage, utilities, and earthworks for a range of developments.
  2. Take ownership of technical design and project delivery, from feasibility through to detailed design.
  3. Oversee the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS strategies, and drainage designs.
  4. Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering their technical and professional growth.
  5. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure project success and compliance (S278, S38, S104, S106).
  6. Review and approve technical drawings, reports, and calculations.
