Service Engineer - Commercial Plumber
Cambridge - Field based role
Salary up to £37,485 per annum plus commercial vehicle and fuel card

We provide services to the University of Cambridge, maintaining and repairing their Key Worker Housing located in Eddington and properties across Cambridge. We look after over 1000 properties across Cambridge.
About the role:
Due to contract expansion, we are seeking to hire a Service Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. This role is working with our client Cambridge University. As a Service Engineer, the main duties will include planned preventative maintenance, monitoring plant equipment, and replacing seals and gaskets where required.
Role Criteria:
- Qualified as a Commercial Plumber or Mechanical Engineer
- Experience working in Plant rooms
- Knowledge of pipework
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team
Additional Information:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment. To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
