Small Animal Vet Vacancy near Bury St Edmunds, would suit developing vet

Our client based near Bury St Edmunds are looking for a Small Animal Vet, who is committed to working positively and proactively with the existing fantastic team. They are able to support someone who requires some mentoring but you should be fairly confident to work on routine cases.

This RCVS accredited practice has three branches in the area, which are all set up to offer the best care and are in great locations surrounded by beautiful countryside. Their dedicated and skilled team of clinical and support colleagues work collaboratively to ensure the practice runs smoothly. They hold regular clinical and branch meetings and encourage the whole team to come forward with ideas to improve the clinical practice and working environment. They actively support those who wish to pursue specific interests and gain certificates. Based in Bury St Edmunds known for its history, its beautiful outside spaces, its great mix of independent & high street favourite shops and for being Suffolk's Foodie Capital with its fantastic eateries. The practice is in a great position for getting into London, plus Cambridge and Norwich are under an hour away by car. There are good rail links to the rest of the UK and Stansted and Southend airports are both in easy reach.

Salary is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience, plus you will be reimbursed with extra pay for out-of-hours work and second on-call weekend duties. However, a full-time role is based on a fantastic 36 hours! Part-time work can be considered.

1. Generous £1750 CPD allowance (plus 4 days), although will consider over this level
2. RCVS & VDS fees paid plus one professional membership of your choice (e.g. BVA/BSAVA etc)
