Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites. We believe that advertising, when done well, can enhance the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our talented, diverse & international marketing team to help scale our growing Advertising support program for our SMB (Small-medium business). As an Ads consultant you are passionate about the range of Amazon products available to our advertisers, understanding business drivers for performance, driving adoption of HVA (high value actions), and engaging with advertisers to deliver on these.
You play a key role on the Ads consultant team, growing the business by being the customer expert, developing audience and optimization recommendations. You possess strong analytical ability, and will develop deep expertise in Amazon's products and proprietary metrics to build winning campaigns and optimize performance to derive insights and meet our advertisers' needs. You also thrive in ambiguous situations, with exemplary stakeholder management and communication skills, helping you work across global locations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Be an expert on Amazon solutions and adapt recommendations based on advertiser needs.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for campaigns.
- Serve as the main Ads point of contact for Advertisers and act as an enabler to their sales & marketing initiatives via a 1:1 outreach program.
- Work with Account Management, Sales & Marketing, and Product teams to identify and solve issues blocking advertiser performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve designed Amazon products based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products.
- 3+ years of professional experience with online advertising, e.g., as Account or Campaign Manager at a publisher, as media planner at an agency or similar.
- Fluency in English and Japanese (in respect to writing, reading, speaking and communication).
- University degree with an emphasis in Management, Marketing, Advertising or Business.
- Experience in a data and results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
- An exceptional eye for detail, ability to solve problems and given the fast-paced nature of our division, with the aptitude to multitask.
- MBA or other related Master's degree.
- Passion for online advertising and a track record of delivering results.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with SEO or tools such as Salesforce.
