Job Overview:

This will be a dynamic hybrid role encompassing Community Management, Strategy, Creative, and Production. This hybrid position is part of the Creative team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Community Building and Management:
    • Lead online and offline community management and brand representation, overseeing social media engagement strategies (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.), while also driving offline community initiatives, partnerships, and overall brand reputation.
    • Implement community strategies in coordination with the strategy, creative, and production teams, ensuring execution excellence and scalable community growth.
    • Act as the authentic voice of our client's brands across diverse social channels, tailoring content to match the unique identities of different brands.
    • Cultivate a sense of community and brand awareness on social platforms by actively engaging with both partners and followers, responding to comments and questions, and fostering discussions that encourage brand loyalty.
    • Track, maintain, and collaborate with the media team and strategy lead to ensure social boosting strategies are executed and optimised effectively.
  2. Content Strategy and Creation:
    • Strategically build, manage, and update the content calendar, ensuring timely content delivery that aligns with client objectives and community needs.
    • Flight creative assets into our client's social channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging and tagging.
    • Ideate and generate compelling editorial content alongside the creative team to engage communities and encourage high-quality UGC submissions that align with brand narratives.
    • Mentor and inspire cross-functional teams to better understand channels, communities, and content opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to adapt assets for optimized performance across various social channels, including the creation of reactive content.
    • Identify strong social collaborators for brands, including creators, influencers, brand partners, and more using Brandwatch.
    • Contribute to the development of creative content plans based on your understanding of audience behaviours and platform-specific trends.
  3. Industry Awareness and Research:
    • Manage platform relationships (e.g., Meta reps, TikTok reps) to ensure our clients are getting the best possible insights and features from each platform, staying ahead of rapidly evolving social media trends.
    • Stay attuned to cultural moments, events, brands, and people; proactively engage with relevant trends to enhance our clients' social presence.
    • Identify growth opportunities and gaps in content plans based on online audience behaviour and global social trends.
    • Support the social and strategic teams with competitive analysis, consumer insights, and industry research.
  4. Media, Reporting and Analytics:
    • Manage client paid media budgets, identifying and boosting key posts across platforms to maximize engagement.
    • Monitor social performance regularly, sharing key insights and noteworthy performance trends with the team and clients.
    • Create comprehensive performance reports, pulling key metrics, providing data-driven analysis, and offering strategic and creative recommendations to optimize future content and engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role within the beauty, CPG, or pharma industry.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to switch tones seamlessly.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
  • Ability to use and create within modern social media tools and platforms, including but not limited to - Canva, Capcut, Brandwatch, RivalIQ, and more.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms & analytics tools.
  • Comfortable with generating and amending analytic reports. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a keen eye for identifying opportunities.
