Software Engineer

Software Engineer | Perm | Burgh Heath | Hybrid 3 days onsite | £45,000-£60,000pa + benefits

Our client, a global brand, is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a diverse portfolio of software solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and support cloud-based software solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, users, and vendors to capture and deliver requirements.
• Build and maintain APIs, ETLs, web applications, and transaction processing systems.
• Contribute to an agile development environment, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure robust testing and automated test implementation throughout the development cycle.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and employ modern DevOps practices.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of software solutions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#), Azure SQL, API Management, Data Factory, Databricks.
• Experience in CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of agile methodologies, system design, and architecture.
• Relevant Azure certifications (eg, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
