Job Description: C++ Engineer

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Duration: 12 months (Freelance) with possible extension

Work Schedule: 3 days per week on-site, 2 days remote

Source Technology are seeking a skilled C++ Engineer with Linux experience for a 12-month freelance project with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be working on the development and maintenance of software for high-performance systems in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize C++ software for Linux-based platforms.
• Work on system-level software and integration with embedded systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, stability, and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for software and development processes.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in C++ programming and Linux-based development.
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, system-level programming, and performance optimization.
• Experience with software debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
