Job Description

Solution Architect Pega | Financial Enterprise | Long-Term Project

As a Pega Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative, scalable Pega-based solutions for Work Stack Management (WSM) at Rabobank. Our WSM system manages the routing and assignment of over 30 million work items to more than 20,000 users. The core of this system-our work item routing engine-is built using Pega Case Management, and we are embarking on a new phase of architectural innovation to scale this solution further.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture of a high-impact system, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive transformative changes that enhance operational efficiency across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership:

    • Drive end-to-end Pega implementations, including Project Start Architecture (PSA), Solution Design (SD), and Technical Design (TD).
    • Develop generic solution patterns that prioritize reusability and scalability.

  • Solution Development:

    • Translate complex business requirements into robust and flexible Pega-based solutions.
    • Design architectures that align with best practices and Pega platform capabilities.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Work with stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.
    • Ensure solutions align with project objectives and business goals.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and guide Pega developers, fostering innovation and professional growth.
    • Champion best practices and modern approaches within the Pega ecosystem.

  • Continuous Innovation:

    • Stay updated on Pega platform advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
    • Integrate new capabilities and ideas into architectural strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience:

    • Proven track record as a Pega Lead System Architect with complex, large-scale project implementations.
    • Familiarity with Pega Decisioning and Case Prediction is a plus.
    • Experience with Pega Constellation Architecture.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in system integration, including web services, API development, and event streaming frameworks.
    • Strong vision and experience with DevOps principles and practices.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:

    • Strong analytical skills to assess and solve complex technical challenges.
    • Ability to design innovative and effective solutions within platform constraints.

  • Leadership and Communication:

    • Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
    • Clear and effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
