Solutions Architect (up to £100,000)

Permanent role but open to 12-month contract

About the role

This role will evolve and define our technical landscape for our Fabric platform encompassing publishing, commercial, and marketing technologies ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. You'll be working with a range of stakeholders to understand business needs, collaborating with product and development teams, business teams, vendors, and partners to map out how data-led technology solutions can support our ongoing transformation.

As a Solutions Architect you will:

1. Understand the evolving technology best practice to continually evolve the architectural methodologies and designs to provide platform-level solutions
2. Deep understanding of existing Technology systems across all areas of the business and as a member of the Architectural Design Authority you'll govern architectural design decisions
3. Understand all functional requirements, providing expert input through appropriate methods of capture, documentation, and structure, to ensure each solution is fit for purpose
4. Define and maintain a set of NFRs for each technology solution ensuring security, data quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance as integral elements of each architectural design
5. Design and document both high- and low-level architectural solutions to enable communication, governance, implementation, and support for all solutions
6. Embed a security by design approach to all solutions to deliver high levels of data security and integrity to maintain user confidentiality

Qualifications:

1. Strong Solution Architecture experience (5+ years) ideally with in Publishing / Customer / Marketing / Data technology and experience of multiple instance / brand platforms
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
3. Documentation including Flow, Sequence, Solution designs
4. Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
5. Strong organisational and leadership skills
6. Deep understanding of Service Orientated / MACH Architecture
7. Solution design experience in Cloud
8. Ability to create and maintain or enhance procedures, processes and designs
