We are looking for engineers who have worked for at least 10 years and are ready for the next step. Within our team the focus is on the realization of prefabricated modular substations for the international data center industry.

We are a fast growing department with a diverse team consisting of engineers with backgrounds from all over the world. As a junior/intermediate engineer you will work with a lead engineer on the technical design, factory testing and commissioning. The emphasis is on hardware engineering, but sometimes includes software issues.

You have a general knowledge of LV, MV, Trafo and the construction procedures. In your current job you are used to talking to high demanding clients and now you are ready to pursue a career in modular substation.

Day to day tasks:

In this position, you lead a team of at least two engineers while liaising with customers, factories, and other Siemens departments. Your engineering work involves verifying electrical distribution systems design and coordinating interfaces with customers. You handle technical issues by investigating and advising on layouts, components, cabling selection, termination kits, earthing, grounding, and more.

You are also responsible for writing assembly and commissioning plans, leading FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and FWT (Factory Witness Testing) on-site and in factories. You plan and oversee the progress of factory operations, resolving any technical issues that arise. Additionally, you place orders and learn to estimate the commercial impact of additional work performed, all while collaborating closely with an experienced lead engineer.

What do you need to be considered for this position?

o Completed Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and more than 8 years of experience;

o Flexible working attitude, practical and results-oriented;

o Communicative, committed, stress resistant and able to act within a dynamic environment;

o Willing to do short work on location at home and abroad (15% on location);

o Knowledge of the English (Verbal and written) and Dutch language (Beneficial)

o Driving license and EU nationality is mandatory,

Primary Employment Benefits

A gross monthly salary of up to €5.500

A 13th month payment, prorated periodically
