The team: EU Fulfillment acceleration
Operations is at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. We improve customer experience by continuously optimizing the complex movements of goods from vendors to customers throughout Europe.

Key job responsibilities
The role: Analyst
You will be responsible for accelerating the speed of deliveries across one of the EU countries. This role includes 60% stakeholder/project management and 40% analytical activities:

Innovation & Stakeholder/Project Management

  • Use and share your insights with partner teams to influence/build a roadmap of projects to accelerate speed of deliveries in your country.
  • Quickly launch new pilots for complex opportunities and build scale-up business cases with benefits, bottlenecks, risks, and resources required.
  • Work with teams of software developers and research scientists to design the next round of software innovation.
  • Lead regular business reviews with partner teams to monitor the progress of projects in the roadmap and help remove bottlenecks.
  • Consolidate progress into crisp, concise data-driven status updates for reporting to Amazon leadership.

Data Analytics/Science
  • Deep dive into complex data using SQL (>10TB) to uncover actionable insights for known and unknown problems.
  • Use data to control/audit supply chain behavior and automate the identification of improvement opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in analytical fields.
  • Experience in a project/program management role.
  • Strong willingness to use data to answer first-time questions and solve large-scale ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to lead and structure projects while collaborating with internal partners.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex issues clearly.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the tenacity to develop ideas independently.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • English conversational language is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in supply chain or transportation roles.
  • Experience working with tech teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL/Redshift.
