We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Staff Nurse (RNID) to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children's Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Contract Type: This is a Fulltime Permanent contract. (Full Time & Part Time Contracts Available)

Salary Scale: €34,492 to €50,362 per annum pro rata Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)

Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 Days per annum pro rata

Overview of the Post:

To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service, who agrees with each family the type and level of support to be provided. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator. In order to provide a flexible support service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Have a nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland.
  2. Have current Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  3. Experience of working in a person-centred health or social care setting.
  4. Have such experience as will enable him/her to provide nursing duties as required.
  5. Possess a full clean driving license.
  6. Have a minimum of 1 year post registration experience.
  7. 'D1' license an advantage or be prepared to obtain a 'D' or 'D1' license.
  8. Experience of working with adults or children with disabilities desirable.
  9. Experience of working within a residential/respite setting an advantage.
