We're looking for aStrategic Account Executive to join our sales team in London. As aStrategic Account Executive focused on new business, you will be at the forefront of our company's growth in the UK, driving revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic deals with high-value new clients in the Hospitality industry. This role demands a proactive and results-oriented professional, with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets within a direct sales environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding potential clients' complex business needs and delivering tailored solutions that resonate and close.
What you'll be doing:New business development
- Proactively identify and qualify high-potential new clients within the hospitality sector, demonstrating how Lightspeed's platform can optimise their operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire key hospitality accounts, highlighting the benefits of our integrated POS, online ordering, and inventory management solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, showcasing the future-proof capabilities of Lightspeed K platform for restaurants, bars, and hotels.
Direct Sales and Closing
- Conduct demonstrations illustrating how Lightspeed's product empowers hospitality businesses to streamline operations and elevate guest experiences.
- Lead complex sales cycles, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, focusing on the value of Lightspeed's integrated payments and operational efficiency.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for new customer acquisition, driving the adoption of Lightspeed's transformative technology within the hospitality industry.
Client Relationship Building :
- Establish strong relationships with owners, managers, and key decision-makers at prospective hospitality clients, understanding their specific needs and presenting Lightspeed as the ideal solution.
- Understand potential clients' business objectives and challenges, and align our solutions to address their needs, emphasising the benefits of Lightspeed's robust reporting and analytics.
- Smoothly transition new customers to the implementation and launch teams, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience with the Lightspeed hospitality platform.
- Work on other sales/marketing campaigns designed to improve the customer experience as well as grow Lightspeed MRR in the process.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prospect interactions within the CRM system.
- Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren't strictly within the scope of your role.
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in a 360 selling environment.
- Relevant work experience in an industry like IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, retail/hospitality or technology.
- Experience working in a hospitality environment would be great, but isn't necessary.
- Experience in an outbound sales environment.
