Strategic Finance Business Partner - Contract

We're seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to support the financial planning and execution of high-impact strategic projects.

As the business expands, this role will play a pivotal part in evaluating commercial decisions, modelling project funding, and ensuring financial oversight from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage financial models to forecast, support, and monitor key strategic initiatives
2. Produce clear, insightful reporting to track project performance and financial progress
3. Represent the finance function on project steering groups, offering commercial input and financial challenge where needed
4. Partner with senior stakeholders to shape project scopes, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood and factored in
5. Collaborate with FP&A to ensure project impacts are reflected in company forecasts and board-level reporting
6. Liaise with Tax, Accounting, and Governance teams to ensure projects comply with operational, tax, and risk management policies
7. Continuously improve financial processes related to project tracking and cost control
8. Provide additional financial support or analysis as required across ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

1. Strong commercial acumen with excellent numerical and analytical ability
2. Demonstrated experience in a finance business partnering role
3. Advanced Excel skills, with confidence building and maintaining financial models
4. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
6. Immediately available / very short notice period
