As a Strategic Learning Performance Consultant, you will be an integral part of our Strategic Consulting Team within the Professional Services practice at Skillsoft. This role is critical in driving measurable value for customers by creating solution-focused learning strategies and identifying whitespace opportunities within their workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in customer engagement, a strong understanding of our product and service offerings, and the ability to develop strategic points of view that address customer challenges effectively.

Your role is to deliver strategic talent & learning services to our customers, leveraging your expertise in instructional design, cognitive science and adult learning methodologies and identifying whitespace opportunities within the assigned accounts and building a solution-focused point of view that encompasses a relevant mix of product and service offerings from our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with customers to identify performance gaps and recommend tailored solutions to address them.
  2. Create and develop strategic skilling plans tailored to customer needs.
  3. Conduct comprehensive learning needs analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  4. Conduct job role analysis to ensure alignment of training with organizational goals.
  5. Design and develop effective learning strategies to enhance workforce capabilities.
  6. Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs.
  7. Oversee project delivery and management, ensuring timely and successful completion of consulting engagements.
  8. Provide strong consulting expertise to guide clients in their learning and development strategies.
  9. Present at conferences and facilitate presentations, including designing and leading webinars to share best practices and insights.
  10. Deliver services for developing and implementing learning and skilling strategies that align with business goals.
  11. Assist clients with strategic workforce management, ensuring their workforce is prepared for future challenges and opportunities.
  12. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific solution requirements and provide customized solutions.
  13. Conduct workshops, assessments, and consultative sessions to align client goals with organizational outcomes.
  14. Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring continuous alignment with client's evolving needs.
  15. Identify whitespace opportunities within client accounts to expand solution adoption.
  16. Develop a strategic point of view that integrates relevant products and services from our portfolio to address client challenges.
  17. Present solutions to key stakeholders, showcasing measurable business impact.
  18. Collaborate with sales, product, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of proposed solutions.
  19. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to clients.
  20. Create and deliver high-impact presentations, proposals, and thought leadership content tailored to the client's industry.
  21. Define and track performance metrics to measure the success of deployed solutions.
  22. Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on data-driven results and analysis.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven, 10yrs + experience in instructional design and development.
  2. Strong understanding of learning methodologies and strategies.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with strategic skilling planning and learning needs analysis including the delivery of those strategies.
  2. Familiarity with job role analysis and learning path development.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and project delivery.
  4. Strong consulting background with a proven track record of successful engagements.
  5. Exceptional public speaking skills with experience in leading presentations and webinars.
  6. Knowledge of strategic workforce management principles.
  7. Strong strategic thinking, project management and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients.
  9. Experienced practitioner of learning facilitation, leadership development, learning ROI metrics and measurement, and/or learning strategy.
  10. Strong experience with virtual and collaboration web tools.
  11. Advanced literacy in Generative AI, with an understanding of basic prompting is preferred.
  12. Advanced level of desktop application skills (MS365) with ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly as new application skills are required for the position.
  13. Proficient in data analysis and leveraging insights to drive decisions.
  14. Familiarity with organizational performance frameworks and change management methodologies.
