Job Description

Overview: Strategy Manager. A core role within the Strategy & Transformation team, providing expert analytical skills across key strategic initiatives to drive effective decision making and delivery to enable the achievement of the strategic growth plan.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis
  • Own strategic models and undertake scenario analyses to understand the potential impacts of strategic decisions.
  • Work with finance to define and measure strategic KPIs to assess the achievement of the company strategy.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of strategic initiatives, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Undertake industry and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and threats.
Strategic Solutioning & Planning
  • Work with business stakeholders to shape strategic options and recommendations for key strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans for specific initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Project Management
  • Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects successfully.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Prepare and present strategic plans and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure strategic alignment.
Innovation and Improvement
  • Drive innovation by identifying new business opportunities and growth areas, aligned to the strategic priorities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to drive achievement of the strategic plan.
Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including problem/opportunity framing & solution shaping.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
