Supervisor - In Vitro Toxicology

At our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire we are looking to recruit a Supervisor to join our expanding In Vitro Toxicology team.

As a Supervisor at Labcorp you will be responsible for a team of 7 technicians providing the supervisory and operational support necessary for the preparation, conduct or reporting of studies carried out within the Aerosol section within In Vitro Toxicology.

Duties include:

• Accountability for overall accuracy, soundness, quality, timeliness and completeness all work performed in the area of responsibility

• Responsible for scheduling; allocating resources within the operational/support group/section; overall responsibility for training and supervision of all operational/scientific/support staff

• Responsible for study data, raw data and/or reporting quality, to include equipment metrology and functionality (where applicable)

• Supervisory responsibility for all staff working in the operational/support group/section assigned to

Education:

• Minimum A-levels or equivalent. Degree in relevant scientific field preferred. Experience may be substituted for education

Experience:

• Supervisory experience within a laboratory, preferably working to regulatory standards and used to a fast paced environment

• Previous staff management experience required

• In Vitro Toxicology knowledge and/or experience is advantageous

• Excellent organisational and time management skills paired with attention to detail

• Proven experience of working to deadlines that are time sensitive
