Role Summary

Marex is developing a supplier management capability that aligns with best practice and regulatory expectations. Following the appointment of a Head of Supplier Management, a comprehensive Third-Party Management Policy (Policy) and roadmap have been established. We are now seeking two Supplier Management Analysts to support the Head of Supplier Management and the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) in implementing and operating this framework.

Supplier Management Analysis involves evaluating an organisation's purchasing activities to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and compliance. It plays a crucial role in optimizing processes and improving supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Policy Implementation:

  1. Assist in the rollout of the Policy across the organisation.
  2. Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practice.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to integrate the Policy into existing processes.

Risk Management:

  1. Conduct and/or trigger risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  2. Implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Head of Supplier Management.
  3. Monitor and report on supplier risk profiles regularly.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Collect and analyze data collected across all processes operating within the Supplier Lifecycle.
  2. In collaboration with the Head of Supplier Management, create and prepare detailed reports and dashboards.
  3. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.

Supplier Inventories and Contract Management:

  1. Maintain a central Contact Management System (CMS) and ensure it has accurate records for supplier services, legal contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
  2. From CMS, manage upcoming contract renewals to ensure the business has advance awareness of contract expiries or auto renewals.

Compliance and Audit Support:

  1. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations across the Supplier Lifecycle.
  2. Assist internal and external audits relating to Supplier Management.
  3. Implement and track corrective actions resulting from audit findings.

Process Improvements:

  1. Identify opportunities to enhance Supplier Management processes.
  2. Support the development and implementation of process improvements.
  3. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvements.

Standard Responsibilities for All Roles:

  1. Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS - DELETE OR ADD AS APPROPRIATE .
  2. Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  3. Role model for demonstrating the highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  4. At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct and Marex's Code of Conduct.
  5. To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  6. To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required.
  7. To escalate risk events immediately.
  8. To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI).
  3. Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  6. Knowledge of supplier management principles, practices, and regulations.
  7. Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
