Supplier and Contract Manager (DDaT)/hybrid/Brighton

Salary up to £59,500

Are you a Supplier/Contract Manager with DDaT experience looking to work for a leading organisation that will impact on millions of lives for decades to come.

In this new and exciting role you will have oversight of all contracts within the DDaT portfolio and will seek to drive value for money, implement the DDaT strategy and commercial roadmap and drive long-term service outcomes and cost reductions through roadmap alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership and development of the strategic DDaT commercial roadmap to optimise value for money, service efficiencies and long-term cost reductions through technology and contract consolidations.

Evaluation of existing suppliers and contracts to advise on current capabilities, needs and future requirements and develop supply chain strategy and plans.

Analyse supplier and contract data to predict trends in demand and costs.

Market research and analysis to advise and identify opportunities to enable DDaT strategies, improve products and services and reduce costs.

Essential Skills:

Extensive knowledge and experience of commercial life cycle within the public sector.

Roadmap management: Experience of creating and delivering a long-term commercial roadmap for digital function.

In-depth awareness and experience of Government standards and industry best practice within Supplier Relationship Management eg: Government Commercial Function Guidance

Supplier Relationship and Contract Management: comprehensive understanding and experience of managing suppliers including supplier performance, service levels, development, benchmarking, role of cost drivers in the supply chain, understanding of sub-contract markets and supplier relationship management.

Negotiation: Proven track record delivering savings through optimising commercial solutions whilst maintaining credibility and a long-term supplier relationship.

Stakeholder Management: experience of liaising, consulting, and meeting with key stakeholders to understand business drivers and short-, medium- and long-term goals.
