Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Location: Zone 6 of North London (Hybrid working style)

A leading Asian food company in the UK is looking for a Supply Chain and Production Management Executive. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth production planning, demand analysis, and managing relationships with outsourced production companies. The role requires a keen focus on efficient production management and supply chain coordination to meet organizational goals. Understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the production processes to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and high-quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time.
  3. Perform detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine the required production volume and material requirements.
  4. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
  5. Manage relationships with outsourced production partners.
  6. Ensure the effective management of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory.
  7. Continuously analyse and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency.
  8. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  9. Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand planning forecasts.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Experience in production management, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  4. A team player, with the ability to work independently and manage workload.
  5. Business level of fluency in English.
  6. Some understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.
