Job Description

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Supply Chain Contracts Manager to join the Supply Chain Function. The Supplier Contracts Manager will be responsible for the management of all commercial and contractual aspects of key supplier agreements across the diverse product range and supplier commodities through the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall commercial leadership, guidance and expertise in support of the supply chain team.
  • Manage and negotiate supplier contract agreements.
  • Self-motivated and able to proactively work to achieve timescales.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFAR (Defence Federal Acquisition Regulation) & ITAR requirements where applicable.
  • Analyse data & define requirements to make informed decisions regarding supplier contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ensure all contractual terms and conditions are accurately reflected in agreements.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during contract negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Recognition of contract law.
  • Understanding of export control regulations.
  • Previous experience in Aerospace or similar field.
  • Experience in writing & reviewing contractual documents.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline including but not limited to law, business or suitable equivalent experience.
