Job Description
Supply Chain Manager

Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in Solihull, 2 days per month in Gloucester
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Key Skills of a Supply Chain Manager:
  • Strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setup while maintaining strong communication with teams.
  • Knowledge of best practices in inventory control, demand planning, and logistics.
