Supply Chain Planner / Senior Supply Chain Planner

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Planner to join our client's team in Surrey. In this role, you will ensure the seamless availability of pharmaceutical products, acting as a key liaison between various departments such as commercial, regulatory, and manufacturing. Your focus will be on maintaining stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate the replenishment of finished goods to distribution centers and third-party partners.
2. Monitor stock levels to minimize write-offs and initiate redistribution activities when necessary.
3. Manage relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure strong partnerships.
4. Organize and oversee shipments, including customs documentation and quality release processes.
5. Conduct planning across multiple sites and markets to align supply with market demand.
6. Collaborate with commercial teams to define annual quantities and deliver forecasts to suppliers.
7. Ensure timely execution of supply chain activities in SAP, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
8. Oversee logistics operations, adhering to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and quality management systems.
9. Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and performance scorecard development for CMOs.
10. Lead the team in the absence of the line manager.

Key Skills and Requirements:

1. Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, with a focus on forecasts, planning, and inventory management.
