Create have teamed up with a Bespoke uniforms, corporate clothing company who make custom workwear in over 80+ countries across the globe.
Full time in London Office - 5 days a week for first 3-6 months, then will be 1 day working from home after that.
Reporting to Head of Supply Chain.
Working with Supply chain, Board of Directors, Leadership & finance team.
Responsible for OVERSEEING AND MANAGING the Company's SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS for new and existing business NEW product or LAUNCH projects. This includes coordinating with Sales and Account Managers, product development, technical team, production team, and factories to ensure each project milestone and deliverables are achieved (QUALITY, ON TIME, AT THE RIGHT PRICE).
This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
As a Uniform Supply Chain Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of new projects and product launches within the company. Your ability to plan, execute, and optimise supply chain processes will contribute to the overall success of uniform procurement and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities PROJECT PLANNING AND EXECUTION- Work closely with Head of Supply Chain to understand sourcing strategy for each project.
- Develop project plans outlining objectives, timelines, and resources.
- Manage project timelines from initial tender brief through to launch.
- Complete initial costings and critical paths for tender submission.
- Follow through with critical path updates in response to client-led changes to project timelines.
- Follow up with all internal teams to ensure timelines are running to schedule.
- Coordinate with Head of Supply Chain and each department to define project scope.
- Execute projects according to plan, ensuring adherence to quality and budget.
- Identify and evaluate uniform suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability working with Head of Supply Chain.
- Ensure all styles are handed over, and purchase orders are placed on time for each new project.
- Resolve any issues that arise throughout development or production to ensure no delay to the end delivery date.
- Plan capacity ahead of time for new projects in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain.
- Work with Head of Supply Chain to ensure the best launch prices are negotiated.
- Negotiate the best payment terms for each new project in collaboration with Head of Supply Chain.
- Monitor supplier performance through product development stages and first manufacture run, troubleshoot any issues that arise and address discrepancies, with support of Production Managers and Head of Supply Chain.
- Plan and coordinate with Production team, JSD factories, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and distribution of uniforms to Warehouse locations, at the optimum freight charges.
- Conduct regular factory visits, before launch manufacture and during, to carry out inspections of uniform shipments to verify adherence to standards.
- Address any quality issues or defects with suppliers and internal teams, guided by Head of Supply Chain.
- Facilitate communication and collaborations between internal departments, factories, and logistics.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to key stakeholders.
- Work with ESG Specialist to ensure factories comply with client-specific requirements for each new project, including audits and factory visits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
- Travel within the UK and Internationally is required in this role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a supply chain or procurement role.
- Experience in the uniform or apparel industry is highly regarded.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Someone articulate, knowledgeable, and charismatic who can engage with diverse clients from Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Fashion, and Travel.
- Able to work with the team and suppliers to drive projects forward to deliver on time.
- Since this person will be client-facing, we need someone who is extroverted, confident, and great with people and numbers. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and an apparel background is requested, whether in production, product development, or garment technology.
