Supply planning refers to the process of owning the monthly buy process and submission to production partners, forecasting capacity for global future and in-season demand and tracking Purchase Orders to delivery.
We are hiring for a Supply Planning Coordinator to join our Global Planning Team in a position that works closely with some key areas of the business: Merchandising, Demand Planning, Commercial Teams, Asia Operations, and Supply Chain.
You will have a strong analytical ability and will be able to identify opportunities for improvements. You'll work closely with Asia Operations to plan production capacity against seasonal forecasts, highlight the seasonal peaks and troughs, working potential solutions to pinch points and production minimums.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly buy process which entails building various templates, reviewing range plans and buy rules, collaborating with Planning and Commercial Teams.
- Track buys, submissions and deadlines, forecast and capacity KPIs.
- Coordinate Purchase Order creation and confirmation for Own Channels and Distributors.
- Liaise with Asia Operations Sourcing Offices to review weekly production updates and ensure the system is updated accordingly.
- Create and manage Production dashboards for senior management.
- Updating and validating supply tool - Log File, load in monthly buys, ad hoc updates in conjunction with the latest exceptions and production plan.
- Assist with product/planning requests such as in-season adds, rephasing, and pull forward level loading exceptions.
- Assist in identifying and dealing with supply issues or delays as they arise.
- Become proficient in FF systems to draw data to analyze and support the Planning and wider teams - NAV (moving to NetSuite), Tableau, Smartsheet. Support & provide analysis.
- Focus on continuous improvement.
The Person:
- Experience of supply planning/production management within the fashion or footwear industry.
- Experience in managing large volumes of stock from Far East suppliers.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Tableau & Smartsheet would be an advantage.
- Happy to 'Geek Out' and obsess about KPIs but at the same time build cross-functional relationships.
- Experienced working with ERP and data analytics.
- Positive attitude and of course, a great sense of humour.
- Strong judgement, drive, and ability to influence.
- Hard working, self-motivated and a great communicator.
- Calm temperament under pressure.
