Rate: £44.50 per hour

Sutton Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead a team of Social Workers and Specialist Support Workers within the Children and Young Peoples Disability Service. The team supports children with disabilities under Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management
   Supervise and support social workers & specialist support workers.
   Ensure effective case management and high-quality service delivery.
   Drive best practice in working with children with disabilities.
2. Case Oversight & Safeguarding
   Oversee Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases.
   Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
   Implement care plans and risk assessments effectively.
3. Partnership & Multi-Agency Working
   Work collaboratively with health, education, and partner agencies.
   Lead strategy meetings and chair key case discussions.
   Ensure children and their families receive holistic and tailored support.

About You:

1. Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
2. Experience managing Children's Disability Services & Safeguarding
3. Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
4. Ability to manage complex cases and high-risk situations
5. Skilled in multi-agency collaboration and resource allocation
