Job Description

SYSTEMS ANALYST - INITIAL 5 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35

One of Lorien's leading Public Sector clients is looking for a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 5 month contract.

This client is Glasgow based but is open to remote working for the right candidate.

Description of Role

You will be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated Oracle APEX application. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where working independently whilst collaborating effectively within the wider team is key.

  1. Data Design and Modelling within an Oracle Development.
  2. Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects including Tables, Views, Packages, Triggers, and Indexes.
  3. Proficiency in documenting functional specifications.
  4. Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.
  5. Familiarity with REST API development.
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).
  7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  8. Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
