Job Description

We are recruiting for a Systems Analyst with Oracle experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Inside IR35

Hybrid - 2/3 days a month in Redhill

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with testers to help define and drive the acceptance testing.
  • Maintain system documentation to ensure completeness.
  • Work closely with development colleagues during the build phase of new initiatives.
  • Work in a collaborative manner within a high-pressure environment to develop key relationships.
  • Understand and embody the Product vision and business needs for a successful, low-defect, on-time product release.
  • Experience in development and support of Financial Services Applications is essential.
  • Relevant experience as a Technical Business Analyst on large projects within the insurance, claim processing, or pensions industry.
  • Skilled at producing application and business requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with good data analysis experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Relational Databases (including SQL Skills).
  • Subject matter expert in Insurance and/or Pensions Administration Systems. The candidate must have strong technical skills in producing solution documentation, including database design.
  • Ideally familiar with web architecture and web services.

Experience:

  • Apply subject matter knowledge and skills across multiple areas to assess the impact of complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Foster innovation using subject matter knowledge to enhance tools, practices, and processes for the team.
  • Oracle/Database Skills.
  • Lead and foster collaboration across OGB to develop solutions to complex issues.
  • Experience working remotely in a global organization.
  • PowerBI skills or advanced reporting skills.
  • Business continuity relating to how to recover or manage a system outage (e.g. one caused by a ransomware attack).
  • DORA EU regulation knowledge.
