Are you a detail-oriented digital expert with a passion for accurate data tracking? As Tag Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the correct implementation and management of tags across Merlin Entertainments' global websites, digital platforms, and marketing channels. Your work will be vital in capturing user behaviour, conversion data, and performance insights, helping to optimise marketing strategies and business decisions.

In this role, you'll collaborate with marketing, analytics, web development teams, and third-party agencies to maintain seamless tagging, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure compliance with best practices. If you love problem-solving, precision, and making data work smarter, this is the perfect role for you.

This role is flexible globally on location (exc. APAC and West Coast USA),but you will need to align with UK operating hours.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implementing, configuring, and optimising tags across websites, analytics tools, and marketing platforms.
  • Auditing and testing tag performance to ensure accurate data capture and seamless integration.
  • Working closely with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, OneTrust, and other key platforms.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and third-party agencies to align tagging strategies with business goals.
  • Ensuring tags support campaign tracking, conversion measurement, and user behaviour analysis.
  • Staying up to date with best practices, compliance regulations (including cookie management), and emerging digital trends.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in digital analytics, web tracking, or a related field, with a strong understanding of tag management.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and familiarity with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • A keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset to troubleshoot and optimise tracking performance.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, development, and analytics teams.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid media, and website analytics is a plus.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
