Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst for a renowned client in Brussels.
This role requires strong experience in roadmap implementation, process optimization, and Agile environments (Jira, Confluence, Postman).
The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing business solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing business solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities strategic analysis & roadmap implementation
- Translate business strategy into concrete initiatives and track progress.
- Define and implement roadmaps to optimize business processes and IT solutions.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and enterprise architecture.
- Analyze the impact of phasing out IT solutions on the enterprise architecture.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into requirements.
- Write detailed user stories and support Agile development teams.
- Create and maintain Epics, test plans, and scripts.
- Develop business process models (BPM) and ensure continuous optimization.
- Work in an Agile environment with Jira, Confluence, and Postman.
- Execute test runs, document results, and ensure successful implementation.
- Support change managers and end-users during go-lives and deployments.
- Act as a single point of contact for stakeholders during the project lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate between business and IT teams.
- Ensure proper cost estimation, planning, and project coordination.
- Coach less experienced analysts and contribute to best practices.
Required skills & experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in a similar environment (5+ years)
- Strong experience in roadmap definition and implementation (5+ years)
- Experience working in an Agile environment with Jira, Confluence, and Postman (5+ years)
- Deep knowledge of business process modeling (BPM) and process optimization
- Experience in executing test runs and documenting results
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of project management (costs, planning, coordination, estimations)
- Fluent in Dutch & English (French is a plus)
