Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in Edinburgh.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the direct sourcing process, identifying and engaging with global talent pools. This role joins a well-established internal Talent Acquisition team, where you will be encouraged to contribute to team strategy and show innovation in your methods.
Working with the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will have clearly identified objectives and a development path to grow your responsibilities and future ownership of business processes.

You'll spend your time:
- Building and maintaining global talent pools within your managed discipline areas, to ensure the success of current and future hiring needs
- Implementing creative recruitment strategies, using advanced sourcing techniques and emerging AI platforms
- Developing trusted relationships with active and passive networks, promoting employer brand and culture
- Owning the candidate screening process, assessing for skills and character fit
- Working autonomously, driving your own activity to achieve results
- Providing data-driven insights on recruitment metrics, conversion rates and market trends
- Providing an excellent candidate experience, regardless of the outcome
The key experience we're looking for:
- Previous recruitment experience within an agency or in-house environment is essential
- Demonstrable success sourcing across a wide range of specialisms and technical disciplines
- Excellent candidate management skills, able to demonstrate previous ownership of passive candidate pools
- Strong administrative and time management skills, with the ability to explain your objectives and strategy
- You will be a natural team player, with a creative mindset and a desire to solve problems
- Expert user of LinkedIn Recruiter is essential
The following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience recruiting within the Energy, Power or Technology sectors
