Role and Responsibilities

As a Tax Adviser you will be entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering expert advisory and compliance services, and collaborating closely with our Financial Advisers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Client Service Excellence: Building and nurturing strong client relationships to deliver outstanding service.
• Personalised Tax Strategies: Crafting bespoke tax strategies and planning for financial futures.
• Team Collaboration: Partnering with our Financial Adviser Team to provide comprehensive tax planning for mutual clients.
• Compliance and Submissions: Preparing and submitting individual returns in line with tax deadlines.
• Advisory Services: Providing guidance on tax-efficient remuneration strategies, share schemes, and exit strategies.
• Estate Planning: Handling complex matters related to estate planning, tax residence, domicile issues, and HMRC enquiries.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Coaching and mentoring junior team members, leading training sessions, and providing constructive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Extensive private client tax experience, gained within professional services or industry.
• A CTA qualification (desirable, but not essential).
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing a personal portfolio of clients.
• Strong ability to plan workloads, delegate effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative team player who can support junior colleagues and work closely with Financial Advisers and Tax Advisers.
