Tax Director

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a CTA qualified tax professional with extensive tax experience to fulfil your potential within this dynamic and forward -thinking medium sized practice as a Tax Director or Tax Partner.

The firm is well-established and serves a broad range of owner businesses across a multitude of sectors and includes clients with turnovers up to £250 million.
The role itself is extremely diverse, managing a tax team and handling a mix of personal and corporate tax work compliance and advisory work. In addition, you will support the firm's quest for growth and developing the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships and expectations.
Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, including company reorganizations, share schemes, property transfers, M&A, and more.
Lead team training, appraisals, and recruitment.
Respond to HMRC enquiries and ensure compliance risk is effectively managed.
Work with partners to identify growth opportunities and deliver special projects.

Ideally, you will possess the following attributes and qualifications:
CTA qualification with a minimum of 10 years' PQE.
Extensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and proven advisory experience.
Exceptional client service skills and strong communication abilities.
IT proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and accounting software.
Leadership experience in managing teams and driving results.
