We seek an innovative and driven Team Lead for our Core Team.

You will lead a team focused on ensuring our BricsCAD platform is considered a leading industry standard in 2D drafting and 3D modeling. As a proud member of the Hexagon AB family, we're on a mission to transform the design industry with our robust and visionary software solutions.

In this role, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Leadership & Mentorship: Inspire and guide a team of talented developers, nurturing a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Architectural Oversight: Spearhead software design and architecture with a keen focus on enhancing 2D/3D CAD capabilities.
• External Partner Engagement: Interface with external partners, such as the Open Design Alliance (ODA), to address and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
• Planning & Delivery: Assist the Product Owner in developing sound planning strategies and ensure that the team's deliverables are met according to schedule.
• Technical Debt Management: Proactively plan for and address technical debt, ensuring it is systematically resolved to maintain software quality.
• Quality Assurance: Lead and engage in comprehensive product-wide code reviews to uphold the highest standards.

Your profile

• Educational Background: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Experience: 5+ years in software development, primarily in C++ (minimum C+).
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in software design, architecture, and complex system development.
• Leadership Experience: 2+ years in leadership roles with a proven track record of managing (direct reports) and mentoring teams.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Solid foundation in geometry, linear algebra, and numerical methods.
• Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DWG file formats, ACIS modeler, or ODA libraries.
• Advanced knowledge of C+/17, boost, Qt (QML), Object-Oriented Design, and parallel computing.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies with proven experience in Scrum teams.
