Technical Author with Cybersecurity Knowledge - Gas Domain

Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)

Contract Type: 6 week project with potential extension

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Author with expertise in cybersecurity and a solid understanding of the gas domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cybersecurity standards in the gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, SOPs, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to capture complex technical information.
• Ensure documentation aligns with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards.
• Review and enhance existing documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Author, preferably in the gas or energy sector.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, standards, and protocols.
• Familiarity with gas domain processes, systems, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
