Technical Integration Consultant
Introduction to the Team
We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we ve built in functional expertise.
In this role, you will:
Consulting & Strategy Development:
- Understand partner business needs and technical environments to support the development of customized integration solutions.
- Provide strategic advice to partners on how to optimize system integrations for business growth.
System Integration & Configuration:
- Lead the implementation and deployment of integrations between systems, including API management, data exchange, and automation.
- Ensure that E2E testing is completed, documented, and implemented successfully, on time and to a high quality as defined by the partner s needs.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners during the integration process, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (commercial, product, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth and efficient integration efforts.
- Provide partners with ongoing support and troubleshooting for integration issues post-deployment.
Documentation & Training:
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices for internal teams and external partners.
- Provide training sessions or resources to partners to ensure they understand the integration tools and processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Collect feedback from partners on the integration process and outcomes, suggesting improvements where applicable.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, integration tools, and industry best practices to recommend enhancements and new features.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in integration consulting or technical project management, especially in partnership or B2B environments
- Proficiency with integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and cloud technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, webhooks, AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of data formats like JSON, XML, and experience with databases.
- Expertise in troubleshooting APIs, integrations, and software systems
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Service mindset and passionate to deliver personalised service to partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners.
- Experience in process optimization and identifying areas for operational improvement
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $87,000.00 to $121,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $139,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
