Job Description

Grow with us.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to work across the end-to-end Product lifecycle, alongside our existing Product & Engineering team.

About Trudenty:

The Trudenty Trust Network provides personalised consumer fraud risk intelligence for fraud prevention across the commerce and payments ecosystem, starting with first-party and APP fraud prevention.

We are at an exciting point in our journey, as we go to market and drive growth of The Trudenty Trust Network. This next chapter of our story is one in which we will drive impact across the commerce ecosystem, create to stay at the leading edge of innovation across the industry whilst building material value for our team (inclusive of shareholders).

We are a seed stage company that has secured partnerships with notable names in the payments and commerce ecosystem and raised investment from our first choice of partners who align with our values and ambition for the future. Our team is one of exceptional 'outliers'; defined by grit, resilience, creativity in problem solving, intelligence and mastery of our domains. We are also mission-driven and results-oriented. Working with us, you will get the opportunity to do some of the best work of your life and unfold your full potential as a human.

We are a hybrid team, with an office in Central London and work as a mix from office and home.

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a deep understanding of technology and product design, who can bridge the gap between engineering and business. In this role, you will own and drive the evolution of our product offerings - from ideation and design through implementation and delivery - and ensure our solutions are technically robust, user-centric, and commercially viable.

This is a high-impact role requiring a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen and experience in payments and/or fraud prevention. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams - including engineering, GTM, customer support, and sales - and engage directly with clients to shape our roadmap and deliver innovative, scalable products.

Your work will include leading product and sprint planning, scoping partner and merchant integrations, defining technical requirements for engineering, designing APIs, compiling integration documentation, and guiding implementation through to completion. You will also participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to optimise reliability, scalability, and cost.

A bit more on what you will do

  1. Solutions & Integrations: Drive product integrations with merchants, ecommerce platforms, and payment stacks. Translate partner needs into technical requirements and oversee the API design process to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Provide technical guidance to customers and partners during integration and ensure documentation is clear and developer-friendly.
  2. Technical Leadership: Act as the product liaison between engineering and business teams, aligning technical decisions with product goals. Contribute to architectural direction, support code review processes, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.
  3. Product and Sprint Management: Lead sprint planning, prioritize tasks across technical and product needs, and manage product roadmap execution. Translate customer feedback and market research into actionable product specifications, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  4. Customer & Market Research: Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify opportunities and validate product direction. Develop strong relationships with key customers and industry partners to ensure product-market fit and co-create value.
  5. Product Strategy & Design: Own and iterate on the design of Trudenty's core products - including UIs, APIs, and back-end workflows - using data, feedback, and technical insight to guide decision-making.

About you

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in technology and product management, ideally in the payments or fraud prevention space. You may have started as an engineer or have always worked closely with technical teams.

You've led product development end-to-end - from ideation and design to roadmap management and execution - and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines and can easily shift between high-level product thinking and low-level technical detail. You are client-oriented, solution-driven, and unafraid to take ownership.

What we are looking for

  1. Experience: 10+ years in product roles, ideally in fintech, payments, or fraud prevention. Strong familiarity with payment gateways, acquiring and issuing banks, and financial integration standards (e.g., Open Banking).
  2. Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with API design and third-party integrations. Ability to interpret code, contribute to architecture discussions, and work directly with engineering teams to deliver robust technical outcomes.
  3. Product Leadership: Experience leading product strategy and execution, owning the full lifecycle from market research to delivery. Ability to manage backlogs, plan sprints, and drive team alignment across functions.
  4. Client Orientation: Proven experience working with clients and partners in a technical capacity - translating business needs into product and technical plans.
  5. Problem-Solving & Systems Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a systems-level understanding of technology and business processes. Comfortable working with ambiguity and breaking down complex problems.
  6. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to influence across teams and effectively articulate product rationale and technical tradeoffs.
  7. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Our offer

  1. Cash: Depends on experience
  2. Equity: Generous equity package, on a standard vesting schedule
  3. Impact & Exposure: Work at the leading edge of innovation building our machine-learning powered smart contracts for fraud prevention
  4. Growth: An opportunity to wear many hats, and grow into a role you can inform
  5. Hybrid work: Work from office 3 days a week, remote work rest of the week. Additional flexibility to work remotely 12 weeks a year
