Job Description

Job Summary: As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our clients' digital transformation workstreams. You will work with Tier 1 clients across various industries on their website/webapp ecosystems, managing engagement with key customers and partners as the primary point of contact for all product and project-related matters. Your role includes supporting clients with their web ecosystem roadmap while ensuring delivery remains on time and within budget, covering new web builds and ongoing support/BAU improvements.

You will utilize a mix of traditional project management and agile delivery skills, adopting appropriate methods and tools to maintain high-quality standards from both project and personnel perspectives.

This role is hybrid, requiring a couple of days per week at our Kensington office in London, with occasional travel to clients' offices for meetings and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities for Delivering Quality Products/Projects with High Client Satisfaction
  1. Manage relationships and engagement: Act as the day-to-day point of contact, facilitating all ceremonies and workshops with stakeholders and key customers.
  2. Understand client roadmaps: Deliver value through a product-led mindset, focusing on web-based projects including Content Management Systems (e.g., Drupal), SaaS platforms (e.g., Laravel), UX and Service Design, with considerations for SEO, CRO, accessibility, and performance.
  3. Manage scope, costs, and timelines: Collaborate with the PMO Analyst and Resources Manager to align resource allocation with project milestones.
  4. Maintain risk and quality standards: Keep a risk register, monitor delivery progress, and follow ISO standards to ensure quality and security of solutions.
  5. Collaborate with sales and client services: Identify new opportunities, scope projects, and participate in pre-sales and QBR activities, including proposal development and client pitches. Review Statements of Work for accuracy and risk.
  6. Participate in community and continuous improvement: Share best practices, mentor colleagues, and enhance delivery processes.
Skills & Experience

Our ideal candidate will have a proactive, can-do attitude, a passion for UX and web technologies, and a commitment to continuous learning. Specific requirements include:

  • Experience delivering web-related projects for large government agencies or similar organizations, following the gov.uk Service Standard. Service assessment records are a plus.
  • Experience with web CMS (Drupal or equivalent) and custom web platforms built with open-source solutions (Laravel or equivalent).
  • Experience managing software workstreams in an agile environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of handling difficult situations and resolving conflicts.
  • Commercial awareness, including budget tracking, risk management, and forecasting.
  • Ability to build and maintain high-performing teams with clear communication and collaboration.

Due to the industries we serve, the candidate must be able to obtain some security clearance, requiring British citizenship and permanent residence in the UK for the last 5 years.
