Job Description

Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist BeNeLux

Location(s): Belgium - Remote (Field Based)


The main territory to be covered is Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with collaboration with colleagues in Northern Europe.


Responsibilities

  • Compete for all food sales opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and distributor relationships.
  • Constantly attempt to secure business in new accounts and follow customer account receivables.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasting, updates, and next steps within SFDC on a weekly basis, as well as timely, accurate, and competitive pricing to customers, and submit internal approvals.
  • Attend seminars, exhibitions, and demonstrations to promote business.
  • Maintain knowledge of Perten products, as well as knowledge of competitors' products, prepare, document, and update presentation aids accordingly.
  • Develop close working relationships with internal parties: Field Applications Specialists and Field Service Engineers.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry or Food Science.
  • Strong experience selling within the food industry or lab instrument sales.
  • Experienced sales star who is results-driven, energetic, effective, a self-starter with a strong motivation for sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to excel in an international sales environment.
  • Channel management/distributor sales experience.
  • Independent, with good organizational and team-working skills, driving you to continuously seek new opportunities.
  • Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers, willingness to travel across the BeNeLux and DACHP territory.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take the lead in a sales role within a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel is essential up to 50%+.
  • Current driving license.
