Skills & Experience required:

  1. Knowledge of: Relevant management information systems, Clerical practices and procedures, Electronic/paper filing systems
  2. Work experience involving: Completing general administrative and clerical tasks, Reception / switchboard, Word-processing documents, Taking and preparing minutes at meetings
  3. Minute Taking Skills
  4. Demonstrate good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and bespoke IT systems
  5. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels

What's involved with this role: You will support the TSC Administrator in delivering efficient services, ensuring optimal use of resources. You will also assist department managers in providing exceptional service to the community and key stakeholders.

Key duties:

  1. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and value for money principles.
  2. Provide clerical support, including managing office systems, photocopying, printing, and compiling information.
  3. Cover reception and switchboard duties, handling calls and visitors efficiently.
  4. Manage the TSC post system, including mail logging, collection, and distribution.
  5. Support the other Clerical Assistant when required and maintain accurate records, reports, and noticeboards.
