What you will do:
Our prestigious and newly opened Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van / HGV Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift:
Working 45 hours Mon-Fri 07.30 - 17.00 with alternate Saturday mornings.
Paying up to £45,000 dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience. Flexibility will be required.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload.
- Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc.
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles.
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard.
- Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required.
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately.
Essential Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience.
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment.
- Clean Driving Licence - HGV would be an advantage.
- 25 days rising with service.
